how can dicotyledonous plant obtain oxygen at night through stomata( even though the stomata will be smaller, oxygen can go through it) the change in shape of guard cell is due to it turgidity, when there is plenty of water, it'll become turgid and hence it opens the stomata; but when there is not enough water, it'll become flaccid and hence it'll reduce the size of stomata
